Mixing engineer & 4-track cassette Jedi
Hi! I'm Marco. I'm a sound engineer based in London.
If you love great-sounding music, fat snare drums, vintage vibes, guitars (lots of 'em!), Star Wars, reverbs and delays, the warmth of tapes, the 80's and Rock 'n Roll, PIZZA, colored synths, saturation, tennis shoes, tube microphones and VHS, YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT SPACE!
MIXING: SOME SONGS I COOKED!
Here's some songs I've worked on that have a special meaning to me!
WHO AM I
Look: this is all about YOU and YOUR MUSIC, so go ahead and listen to some of my works, send me some demos and let's get chatting, but if you really want to know..
I'm a 26yo mixing and recording engineer based in west London. I moved here from Italy in 2015 to be able to make music 24/7 in one of the best cities in the world!
In 2018 I started my own personal project called #TAPESESSIONS, but more on that later..
I love working with bands and songwriters; basically anything that involves acoustic instruments and people getting together to play music. I like organic sounds and genuine songs. I believe getting good sounding recordings is pretty easy now-days where home studios have completely changed the way music is made. Working with a mixing engineer that can bring to life your recordings will make sure your music achieves its maximum potential, and I can't wait to be part of your team!

CHRISTMAS 2017: I'm going back home for my Christmas holidays.
It's a great time for me to get inspired and recharge my batteries. One night I'm talking with my dad about music records and how technology has changed the way we approach music. "When I was your age I could only dream to do what you can do today!
All I had was a crappy 4 track cassette recorder... I still have it somewhere..." he said.
"WHAT? WHERE? AND WHY HAVEN'T YOU EVER TOLD ME THAT?!?!" I exclaimed!
And here I am, some 30 years after my dad, recording music on his same "crappy 4 track cassette recorder". AND IT'S GREAT FUN.
TAKE A LOOK AT MY TAPES!
One takes recording, no computer. How would your band sound in the 80's?
